This line of Crossin's originated in England according to the data we now posess. From England they emigrated to Canada and this is currently all we know. The earliest Crossin we know about at this time is Mary Crossin Whetham born September 25, 1784 in Birdport, England (the location is not verified) She married James J. Whetham and is the sister of Thomas Bradford Whetham born December 2, 1782 in Birdport, England. The parents were William and Jane Bradford Whetham.
This information was supplied by Karen Watson - hwat@aol.com who has informed us that an extensive research on the Whetham family with mention of the Crossin and Nevill lines was written by her mother and cousin called "Whetham Connections, A Family Narration".
