Obit reads:
Death occurred Saturday at her home on the Sixth Line, Plympton township in Lambton, of Mrs. Anna Wickham, wife of Elmer McNelly, former residents of this city. She was 61 years of age.
Mrs. mcNelly had been ill for sometime and her death cams as a release to suffering. The couple formerly lived on Joseph Street in this city (Chatham). Mrs. McNelly ws a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Wickham. For some years she was employed at the local post office.
Surviving besides her husband is a sister, Mrs Franklyn Miller of Cleveland Ohio, Three brothers, Thomas of California, John of Flint, Mich. and Heber of Saginaw, Mich.
She is resting at the Jahnke and Greenwood funeral home where funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock conducted by Rev. W.S. Day. Interment will be made in Maple Leaf cemetery.
Funeral service for Mrs. Anna McNelly, aged 61 years, wife of Elmer McNelly, formerly of this city. were held Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock at the Jahnke and Greenwood funeral home.
A large number of of friends and relatives attended the last rites which were conducted by Rev. W. S. Day who read passages from the scripture t comfort the bereaved and closed the service with benediction. There were many floral tributes and the flower bearers were members of Parthenon Lodge A. F. and A.M. of which Mr. McNelly is a member. During the service Mrs. Milton Bogart was soloist and her accompanist was Mrs. F. Eberts.
Pallbearers were Herman Winters, J. W. Draper, Jack Reid, Hugh Porter,
Otto Brown and C. Lister. Interment was made in Maple Leaf cemetery.
