This line of Sanderson's originated
in England. At some unknown date the emigrated to Canada.
Maria Sanderson. Maria was born in Sutton Parish, Yorkshire, England 22-Feb-1822. She married John Wiles. He was born in Vaughn Township / Village, York County, Ontario, Canada. We have no details of the marriage, but it most likely took place in York County, Ontario.
They had nine children we know about. They are not presented in order because of the lack of birth dates.
- Robert Wiles. Have not located any pertinent information.
- Walter Wiles. Have not located any pertinent information.
- Edwin Wiles. Married twice (to Sue and Annie). No further information.
- Fred Wiles. Married Dora; had one daughter, Frances.
- Mary Wiles. Married Mr. Hood. Their daughter, Lina, married Mr. Knoeckner.
- Elizabeth Wiles. Married George Powley. Their children were: Charlie, Robert, Edith, May for which no further information is known. And Eva, married to Mr. Moggridge (parents of Grace and Gordon).
- Hannah Wiles. Married to Mr. Gee. Their children were: Eva, Roy, Walter (no further information on these) and Howard, who married Daisy, and had eight girls and one boy and Norma, who married Dr. Parker, and had two daughters, Patricia and Grace.
- Ann Wiles. Born March 22, 1841 in Vaughn, Township / Village, Ontario, Canada. Her father John Wiles was also born in Vaughn. Ann died July 25, 1916. She married Robert Hall.
- Adelia Wiles.
- Adellia Wiles. Born June 20, 1853. Died Dec 23, 1931. Married James Rogers born Oct 10, 1846 died July 20, 1931.

Only Wiles we know about at this time is Ann Wiles, the wife of Robert Hall. We have not learned much her. We do not know her birth date or location or any information about parents or siblings. We could speculate that she was born about 1840-45; However, since her husband Robert was born in Somerset Shire, England and the date of immigration into Canada are not known we do not know where they met or married.
