McNelly - Wickham

The home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Wickham, Flint, Michigan was the scene of a very pretty wedding Wednesday evening, when their eldest daughter Nancy V, was united in marriage to Elmer McNelly, eldest son of Mrs. Thomas McNelly, Chatham, Ont, by the Rev. C. A. Lippincott, pastor of the Presbyterian church.  The drawing rooms were decorated with ferns, palms, holly, pink and white carnations.  The bride entered the drawing room with her father, to the strains of Lohengrin;s Wedding March played by Miss Ethel E. Wickham, sister of the bride.  The bride was beautifully gowned in white silk mull, prettily trimmed with French val. laces, wearing a sunburst of pearls, the gift of the groom, and carrying a shower bouquet of white carnations and lilies of the valley.  The couple were unattended.  After congratulations all sat down to a dainty wedding dinner.  The table and dinning room we decorated with smilax and pink carnations.  The brides traveling suit was brown broadcloth with a hat to match.  Mr. and Mrs. McNelly will reside on the groom's farm near Chatham, Ontario.
