Celtic Groove
The Blarney Brothers have a unique sound that few bands
can claim. You don't often find six guys who can all sing, write & arrange
music and play so many different and diverse instruments. But what kind
of music is this really? The Blarney Brothers are a live pub show with
the accent on "live" and the emphasis on "show". While much of their
music is original and ranges from romantic to rock-a-billy, they have
also found that Celtic music and pubs were meant for each other whether
in Texas or Ireland. The Blarney Brothers breathe new life into traditional
songs while maintaining the spirit of the original. The Blarney Brothers
also find the sea-faring music of Stan Rogers to be a strong influence.

So strong, in fact that it lends itself to a wonderful
seagoing theme that weaves its way through a night with The Blarney
Brothers. It also inspired the writing of an original song in the genre
called "Ned's Chanty." For 1999, the Blarney Brothers are setting out
on a National Tour with plans for a British Isles tour sometime in the
next 12 to 18 months. These touring plans following quickly on the heels
of release of their second CD, A Fine Line Between
Ambition & Delusion.
