The peas are sprouting

First thing this morning I got a phone call to schedule an interview. It was that place I was so excited about. The HR gal asked a few qualifying questions about wearing a pager, salary expectations and travel, then scheduled the interview for this afternoon.

This one excited me because it is a Technical Support/Programmer Analyst position. (tech support is my first love and programming is my second love). Not only that, but there is such a wide range of platforms involved. The web site mentioned S/36, AS400, OS/2, DOS, UNIX and Windows.

The interview seemed to go well enough. Of course, I think -all- of my interviews have gone well so far. I would have expected to have offers all over the place by now. This place had the air of a smaller shop, just being forced to change to NT from OS/2. I think my first interviewer was happy to talk with someone who was well versed in Warp as well as NT. I know he was happy about my midrange computer knowledge.

Me . .I played with the camera some today -- took about a million pictures of myself and got mostly the top of my head or my chin. I did get one where I am mostly in the picture so I'm proud of it. *smile* I keep telling myself that all I need is practice and I can learn to do artistic, creative photos. So far, I've been working with the theory that if you take a LOT of photos, at least one of them will turn out ok.
