Gummy worms

My husband somehow inspired himself to go around and take pictures of some of his weird things, like his skulls. Its a bluejay head on a bulletOne photo has his otter and his mink skull side by side, to show, he says, how they are related. They look like oysters to me. There's a picture of his hydraulic valve lifter. The beaver head looks sort of spooky. Theres a photo of a micrometer, dial calipers, and a blue jay head perched on a bullet.

You don't have to be weird to marry me, but it helps.

Katie called me today looking for Daniel. This is an Ed weekend, so I am all alone and I love it. I'm so decadent. I break all the rules when I'm here alone, doing things like eating in the computer room and curling up on the furniture with Michael. While we were on the phone, she was reading my journal and laughing her butt off. She laughs more when reading my journal than most people do while reading the funnies. I guess that's a sign, of something; I'm not sure what.

Tom took me out to dinner tonight at Tias. That seems to be his favorite Mexican food place. Me, I go for the marguaritas. They put gummy worms in their top shelf variety and I can keep myself occupied for hours with a gummy worm. We always get way too much food and a nice doggy bag for lunch on Sunday. I guess it doesn't seem so expensive when I think of it as TWO meals for two people. But I love the gummy worms -- I have one in the doggy bag to play with tomorrow.

I need to spend some time tonight or tomorrow on the 'cast' page, especially since I've started linking to it. I've decided to just put a plain old page out there for now and work with the fancy javascript thingie I want to try some other time. Playing susie homemaker and looking for a job sure eats into my web page time.
