She's Working

Today was my first day at work . I found out exactly where I'm working today, too. It was a bit of a surprise and I've decided to call the client by some mystery name to keep them anonymous. I don't know exactly what, though. Probably something like . . .work.

I was up and at work before dawn this morning. I haven't been up before dawn since Tom's and my honeymoon that I can remember -- at least not up to stay up. There was no traffic and the world was very quiet. When I pulled up in front of the building, there were a couple of egrets taking their morning walk. I did get to see the sunrise while on a smoke break, but I sure missed my morning sit out in the yard with Tom. I've gotten quite hooked on our together-mornings.

It was odd, too, him walking me to the car and kissing me goodbye. Since today was his day off, he was outside waiting for me when I got home, too. He had dinner all planned. It was a complete role reversal.

I am kicking myself for having so many half-written, un-HTMLized entries, but I keep getting farther and farther behind. I half write a current entry, then go back to figure out my notes on past days and don't get anything finished or uploaded. I think I'm going to go ahead and put this one up and hope to go back and fill in the others. Again, let me suggest that you join the notify list so you'll know if/when there is a timewarp entry.

John Bailey posted a note about an article in " . . . today's London Independent, one of the most influential of the quality British daily newspapers, covering the on-line journal phenomenon." Here's the article if you want to read it.
