Janet is Coming
I just got home and am in the process of downloading e-mail. There
are two hundred and thirty-six messages coming my way -- gotta just
love diary-l.

My sister, Janet, is coming to visit from Florida the weekend before
Thanksgiving. I'm
sure looking forward to seeing her. I probably hadn't seen her since
around 1985 or so until last year when she came to our wedding.
I think she's starting to like me
or something. *smile*
We finally have our Thanksgiving plans under control, I think. Every
year, Teresa and I are tasked with going
to Louisiana to pick up my brother and my father for Thanksgiving. One
of us picks him up the day before Thanksgiving and the other takes him
home the Saturday after. This year, both of us have started new jobs
and it looked like neither of us would be available for the pickup
run. Fortunately, Teresa was able to get the day off, so now all that
is left is assembling the food and the people.
