Mark your calendar to attend this weekend of teachings by Acharya Moh Hardin. The Buddha—the ‘one who woke up’—taught us how to cultivate mindfulness and awareness through our meditation practice. Mindfulness and awareness, in turn, become the vehicle on which we travel on the path of buddha awakening that transforms confusion into wisdom. On Saturday, May 10, through talks, instruction, meditation practice and discussions, we will explore the development of mindfulness and awareness through the practices of shamatha, or ‘peaceful abiding,’ and vipashyana, or ‘clear seeing,’ meditation. On Sunday, May 11, we will explore the the unfolding of the journey that transforms confusion into wisdom as described in the three vehicles—the Hinayana, Mahayana, and Vajrayana. The two days work as a piece, but if your schedule doesn’t allow you to attend the weekend, you are invited to attend either day as a one-day workshop. Cost*
