Century 21 Real Estate Corp. announced at a
May 1, 2000, news conference that it was sponsoring the Year 2000 edition of Ringo
and His All Starr Band,
which toured for about seven weeks beginning May 12 and ending July
1.
The tour was officially title the Connections Tour 2000.
The band, which posed for pictures and answered questions at the news
conference, included Rock 'n' Roll greats Eric Carmen of The
Raspberries, Dave Edmonds of Stray Cats, Jack Bruce of Cream, Simon Kirke
of Free and Bad Company, and the multi-talented Mark Rivera.
It was also announced during the news
conference that Ringo was being featured in a Century 21
commercial.
The 2000 tour, as with all previous
tours, was under the direction of David Fishof Productions of New York
City. Century
21 and David Fishof Productions
both featured impressive multi-media websites promoting the tour. | |
