RINGO HITS THE ROAD WITH NEW BAND
(Send us
your tour reviews)
Rock and Roll legend Ringo
Starr has just completed the 2001 edition of his now-famous "Ringo
and His All Starr Band," featuring a new group of musicians who
are highly regarded in their own rights.
The
tour began on July 26 and ended Sept. 2.
The band
members included Sheila E., Roger Hodgson, Ian Hunter, Greg Lake and
Howard Jones. None of the five has ever toured with Ringo, and Sheila
E. is the first woman to ever be included in an All Starr Band.
The tour
coincided with the American release of Ringo's new album, The Anthology
. . . So Far, on July 23. It has a list price of $45 although it
can be purchased for less through some of the popular CD sites and some
discount stores.
The box
set came out in England from Eagle Rock Entertainment of Great Britain
on Feb. 5. Fans' reviews of the box set are being posted on this website.
