The purpose of Youth Ministry at Hyde Park Christian Church is to encourage the personal and spiritual growth of our youth by providing them with opportunities for Christian fellowship, education, service, and worship.

 Christian Youth Fellowship (CYF) –  This group is for 9^th – 12^th grades and meets on Sundays in the CYF room from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.  CYF is sponsored by Louanne and Marco Aponte.

 Chi Rho – Youth in 6^th – 8^th grade make up this fellowship group. They meet on Sunday evenings from 5:30 – 7:00 p. m. in the Chi Rho room.  Scott Miller, Director of Christian Education, is the sponsor for this group.

 Junior Youth Fellowship (JYF) – This group is made up of our 4^th – 5^th graders.  They meet on Sundays from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.  JYF is sponsored by Kyle Stubbings and Beth Jenkins.

 King’s Kids – This group is for children from Kindergarten  through 3^rd grade.  This group meets with their sponsors, Martha Burghart and Lois McEvoy on Sunday evenings from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.

 We start each Sunday evening with a snack supper in the Fellowship Hall at 5:00 p. m. for $1.50.

 (During the summer youth groups do not meet each Sunday watch the church calendar for summer activities).

 Youth Camps are a big part of our fellowship groups.  Summer camps are offered for youth and children having completed 2^nd – 12^th grade.  Also, two weekend rallies are offered to the CYF and one weekend retreat is offered to Chi Rho during the school year.

 Summer Service Trips are planned for both Chi Rho and CYF.
