Emory Peak, Big Bend Texas, December 1997

My brother and I hiked up for this view of Santa Elena and Mexico beyond. It was a great sunny day compared to the snow storm a few days before. There are lots of places near the top that you can really settle into and get comfortable for a while. The whole hike was about 10 hours. We'll never forget. See the Lost Mine Trail.
