Waxahachie High School
Class of 1963
|
| Waxahachie, Texas, a
city of 20,000 located 30 miles south of Dallas, has been my home since 1956. I attended
public schools here from the sixth grade through graduation from Waxahachie High School in
1963. Some of the fond memories of my childhood include daily summer plunges at the
Optimist swimming pool, playing baseball on Mr. Henry Curry's Whitesox and Jr. Bisons, the
awesome Waxahachie Indians 1958 State basketball championship, our 1962 State finalist
basketball team, as well as the many friends and classmates. I have constructed a WEB page dedicated to the "Class of 1963". It contains current information about our classmates as well as pictures from our annual, "The Chief". Of particular interest to me is the information available on the Allison-Moss-Scott-Bridges families. If you are interested in genealogy and these surnames are familiar to you, take a look.
