ALLAN PARK, CIVIL TRIAL TESTIMONY

1. THE BRONCO: Allan Park stated that he saw the address, 360 Rockingham, but he did not see the Bronco. He was looking for the address and did not notice anything else.

2. HEARING OTHER CARS: Park was asked if he heard any other noises from other cars on Rockingham while waiting in the limousine at the Ashford gate. He said he did not. However, on cross, he said he saw a few cars pass, but he did not hear a car arrive, a door slam, etc.

3. THE DARK FIGURE ENTERING THE HOUSE: Park said "I saw somebody come from the driveway area into the house, or go into the house. All black clothing: "dark pants, dark top." When asked if he believed he was seeing a robe or a swirling hem of a robe, he said "no." On cross, after re-reading his criminal trial testimony, he agreed he did not know what the "figure" was wearing because he only got a "fleeting" glance.

Petrocelli asked where he first saw the figure. He and Park were referring to Exhibit 116 (plaintiff's exhibit 1456): "There's the word "driveway" and you are pointing between the W and the A, right below the W and the A, south around there." [If anybody knows how to get a copy of this exhibit, it would help; otherwise this is useless, EXCEPT that it appears to indicate that Park is NOW stating he saw the figure (OJ has admitted it was he) on the driveway whereas before he specifically said it was at the EDGE of the driveway in front of the door. This is a SIGNIFICANT change in his testimony.]

Petrocelli asked Park if he marked that spot on the exhibit himself. Park answered "no." He said the spot he first saw the person was a little below where the cross was, "a little bit south of it." He said someone else was working the machine and he had said, "Stop, that's it."

[PARK IS NOW TRYING TO SAY THE MARKING ON THE EXHIBIT AT THE CRIMINAL TRIAL WAS WRONG!! IF THAT'S TRUE, WHY DIDN'T HE POINT IT OUT AT THE CRIMINAL TRIAL?!! This is so OBVIOUSLY playing for the plaintiff's case it's disgusting! And Petrocelli was leading him right along! If you have the Simpson video, you will see EXACTLY where Park marked this exhibit for Marcia Clark. Marcia then proceeded to misrepresent this location from there on out, particularly in her closing statement, as O.J. himself points out the discrepancy on the video. FOLKS, THIS IS SERIOUS!]

On cross, Park agreed he did not see anybody up the Rockingham portion of the driveway in front of the garage, or in front of the breakfast nook.

4. O.J. ANSWERS THE GATE BELL: Park said the voice (which he identified as O.J.'s) answered, "Sorry, I overslept. I just got out of the shower. I'll be down in a minute." [O.J. ADAMANTLY denies ever saying this. Kato testified that he may have asked Park whether O.J. had overslept--this appears to be where Park came up with this and is attributing it to O.J. instead of Kato, an easy mistake for the memory to make.]

5. THE BAGS: Park said when O.J. came out, he set the Louis Vuitton bag down and "proceeded down the driveway." He and Kato put the Louis Vuitton bag and the golf bag in the trunk. Park agreed on cross that one of the "duffel" bags he had described was actually a folded-over garment bag. At the airport, Park loaded the Louis Vuitton bag on the cart; O.J. handed him the golf clubs and Park put the bag on the cart. [This sequence has been a bit confusing all along, but not really critical.]
