Waffen-SS M1942 Field Blouse (feldbluse)

M1936, Variation 1942 This jacket was still basically the same jacket the Germans started the war with. By 1942, the pocket pleats were eliminated as a labor and material saving measure, but pocket flaps were still pointed. The internal suspenders of the M36 and M40 field blouse began to be phased out and were replaced on many jackets with short hook suspenders sewn in the waist of the lining. The quality of the wool continued to decline. At this point the Army added a sixth button to the front to help spread the tension on the poor quality wool, but the Waffen-SS continued with the 5 button front. We can make this uniform coat by special order. The Waffen-SS sleeve eagle insignia is included. Order Now. $320
