Story from Maudina: "I don't see Glen as a drunk or Ada. I loved Aunt Ada dearly. She was the most beautiful lady I ever saw. Ada left Glen, and he raised the kids. She worked in St. Louis in the war factories. She got involved with an older man living in K.C., MO. They came to see us. We were poor, and they had money, lots of it. It was during the depression. We heard on the radio that a lot of people got killed in a mob shoot out in K.C. They left for WA the next day. Ada drank some, but was not alcoholic.
