Drew's second wife Mary and his daughter Ada were jailed on suspicion of his murder. They were later cleared. Drew's coffee was poisened. Mary's coffee was also poisened. She survived. Mary's children from a previous marriage, the Beckers, believed a work hand killed him. Drew's family and children from his first marriage believed Mary and Ada were guilty.
