Know all herein by these presents that hear George Brock and Wm Dyer .....(unreadable) are held and formally bound unto a
Robert Brookes, esq. Governor of the Common Wealth of Virginia this sum of One hundred and fifty Dollars to whit payment .... and truly ...... made to the said Robert Brookes in his ....................................family to family by their presents ..... our goals ..... this 13 day of November 1795. The foundation of the above obligation is such that whereas there is a marriage that is intended to here has to solemnize between the above named George Brock and Amey Dyer. This therefore thence her no ....... to obstruction the said marriage then the above obligation to her has said as she to remain in full force by virtue.
