This information was shared with us courtesy of George Johnston and Robert Strong.  They received this from Ruth Bowers Dommestrup, a meticulous researcher and descendant of Andrew and Katherine's 10th child, Thomas. She transcribed the information from the original in 1978, which was at the time in the hands of Rector Bowers, also a descendant of Thomas.  Rector has since passed away and the location of the Bible is unknown.

According to the research of Ken Fiebelman of the Dent Co., MO Historical Society, Katherine died 30 Aug 1841. Ruth gives the date as 3 August 1841. 

*George is the son of Andrew and his second wife, Nancy Hill. A marriage bond was made for Andrew and Nancy on 31 August 1842. They were married on 13 September 1842 in Grainger Co.  Nancy Hill was the widow of John Hill and had these two children from this union, Permina P. Hill and William Ramsey Hill.
