Minyard is the child of Andrew Jackson & Elizabeth Sellers Bowers.  He is the Grandson of Andrew & Katherine Howeth Bowers.  The woman on the far right is Effie Bowers.  He is the daughter of Minyard's brother Andrew Jackson & Sarah Ann Bell Bowers.  Effie's mother died of a heart attack when Effie was only two months old.  She was raised by Minyard and his wife Elizabeth Fennison Bowers.
