I am excited you want to know more about our campus and Keller Independent School District.
Shady Grove opened in 1991 and is one of nine elementary schools in KISD. We currently have about 730 students enrolled. Our school earned the honor of being a "Recognized" campus in 1996 and for four consecutive years have received an "Exemplary" rating. I am very proud of our students' academic success. I credit our success to our staff, faculty, community and parents. We share a common goal of high expectations for our students and believe we offer our students the best education possible.
Moving to a new area is always filled with excitement and apprehension. Shady Grove Elementary is an exciting place where children find an education home. Shady Grove's heritage is a blend of students who originally attended Florence Elementary and Whitley Road Elementary. We soon came into our own as the Shady Grove Stars
Should you purchase a home in our attendance zone, we want to help you make a smooth transition and provide you with the opportunity to become involved on our campus. There are many activities and involvement through our Parent Teacher Association. I encourage you to join this group of friendly hardworking parents. They will welcome you and help you find a place of service for the benefit of our students.
