This story explores how
greed and a lust for power
can lead a person to
overlook the needs and
well-being of others. A
powerful king, whose
weakness is gifts, receives
his favorite gift of all: a magical mask that talks. The arrival of the talkative mask sets into motion a chain of events that allow the king to see the damage he has done and presents him with a challenge and a chance to change his ways.

Entertaining, magical, & rich with Spanish language full of poetry, movement and imagery. Do not miss it! Librettos available for regular audiences, the play is also available for schools who may require their students to read it in English before attending the Spanish production.

por el poder hacen que la
persona ignore las más
elementales necesidades
y el bienestar de los demás.
Un poderoso rey, cuya
debilidad son los regalos,
recibe uno que se convertirá en su favorito:
¡una máscara que habla! La llegada de esta máscara al reino hace que se desencadenen una serie de situaciones que permitirán al rey ver los daños que ha cometido con su pueblo confrontándolo con el reto de cambiar su comportamiento.
