The Three Stooges Fan Club Meeting is not affiliated with Comedy III Productions, Inc.

Historically, the Three Stooges Fan Club Meeting has been held once a year in or around Philadelphia, PA since the early 1980's. Thanks to Fan Club President Gary Lassin and other Stooge fans like Frank Reighter, Stooge enthusiasts from all over the country were able to get together May 6th and 7th, 2000 to enjoy a weekend of films, celebrities and memorabilia over food and conversation.

Moe's son, Paul Howard, was there and brought home movies and slides to share with the fans in a moving and fascinating presentation about growing up with the Stooges.

Larry's sister Lyla Budnick and her husband Nate were on hand to answer questions about the boys and Curly's daughter, Janie Hanky even made an appearance on Saturday morning and visited with the crowd of well wishers.

Saxon Sitka flew in from the West Coast to visit with fans about the Stooges and his father, the versatile character actor Emil Sitka, who holds the distinction of being the only actor who worked with all six of the Three Stooges.

Philadelphia television personality, Sally Starr, was there to sign autographs and visit with fans. Sally also played Belle Starr in the Stooges' 1965 feature film, "The Outlaws IS Coming!"

Below are photos from the Three Stooges Fan Club Meeting 2000. I hope you enjoy them.
