• 1 Small Package Navy Beans (about 2 cups dry)
  • 6 Cloves Garlic
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
  • 6 Cups Water
  • 1 Teaspoon Spike
  • 6-8 Small New Potatoes
  • Salt (to taste)

    Soak beans overnight. Rinse beans thoroughly. Start the beans simmering in the water. Add the chopped onion to beans. Cut the potatoes into bite-size sections and add to beans. Press garlic and add garlic, garlic powder,and spike. Turn up heat until boiling. Reduce heat and cover. Let cook for about 45 minutes or until beans are tender.

    Leftover beans freeze well and can be nuked easily.
