Miles Davis: Milestones, 1958

The track "Milestones" is one of the most compelling, unique, and memorable pieces of music ever recorded. I find the rest of this album completely forgettable, except for "Billy Boy", which borders on annoying. I'm sure this album represents brilliant musicianship, but there's just nothing about it that reaches out and grabs me. However, I'm glad I have it, because "Milestones" is a track I don't want to be without.
