Scarborough Faire - May 2000

This spring, the weather was just right for a return trip to Scarborough Faire in Waxahachie, the annual Renaissance festival in North Texas. Sue and Scott had visited the festival occasionally before Alison was born, but had not been back in several years. With cooler than normal temperatures, it seemed like this would be a good year to go.

The festival did not disappoint. The faire grounds were rebuilt several years ago after a storm blew down many of the structures. The new layout was a great improvement. There was lots more to see, do and EAT!

We rode elephants...

We rode camels...

We saw dancers...

We even saw a joust...

All in all, it was a big day for the Palmer family. Maybe next year, Daddy will get up on stage at the mud show! (Nah.)
