Scripture Cake

From the kitchen of Ethel Davis

Ingredients

Bullet 4 1/2 cups I Kings 4:22 (flour)

Bullet 1 cup Judges 5:25 ([each] milk & butter)

Bullet 2 cups Jeremiah 6:20 (cane syrup)

Bullet 2 Tbls. I Samuel 14:25 (honey)

Bullet 2 cups Nahum 3:12 (figs)

Bullet 2 cups Numbers 17:8 (almonds)

Bullet 2 tsp. Amos 4:5 (baking powder)

Bullet 2 tsp. I Cor. 5:6 (soda)

Bullet 2 tsp. Leviticus 2:13 (salt)

Bullet 6 Jeremiah 17:11 (eggs)

Bullet Season to taste with II Cor. 9:9 (spices)

Procedure

  1. Mix it like any Fruit Cake.
  2. Line the pan with foil, bake in moderate oven, 325 degrees, one hour or until done.
