Founded 1967
Richardson, Texas

The American Association of University Women, founded in 1881, is a national organization that promotes education and equity for all women and girls.  It is open to all graduates who hold a baccalaureate or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university.  For more information, please visit the web-site of  AAUW National.

We are a small but active branch located in North Dallas County serving the communities of Richardson, North Dallas and Garland. We also have some Collin County members.  Branch meetings and smaller interest group meetings provide social and informational opportunities for our members.  Branch meetings also serve to inform members and the public about civic, cultural, political, educational, health, and recreational topics of current interest.  These meetings are free and open to the public.

Richardson AAUW members are active members of our community serving as volunteers and providing monetary support for various causes including The Network of Community Ministries.  This year we provided our first scholarship to a college-bound senior at Richardson High School.  We cooperate with the Plano/Collin County Branch for their Holiday Tour of Homes which supports scholarships for Plano high school graduates.

BRANCH MEETINGS

We meet monthly, usually on the third Monday of the month.  Please note, from the calendar below, that this year not all meetings are on the third Monday. All meetings are open to the public.  Please contact one of the members listed below for the exact meeting location.  Please note there will be no meeting in October.
