The American Association of University Women, founded in 1881, is a national organization that promotes education and equity for all women and girls. It is open to all graduates who hold a baccalaureate or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university. For more information, please visit the web-site of AAUW National.
We are a small but active branch located in
Richardson AAUW members are active members of our community serving as volunteers and providing monetary support for various causes including The Network of Community Ministries. This year we provided our first scholarship to a college-bound senior at Richardson High School. We cooperate with the Plano/Collin County Branch for their Holiday Tour of Homes which supports scholarships for Plano high school graduates.
