Please join Bishop
Kevin Farrell (Dallas) and Bishop Kevin Vann (Fort Worth) on
Saturday 16th, 2010 to mark the 37th anniversary of the tragic January
22nd, 1973, Roe v. Wade supreme Court decision which legalized
abortion in America.
The
bilingual Roe Memorial Mass will be concelebrated at 10 AM at the
Cathedral Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe, 2215 Ross Avenue.
Following Mass will be the ecumenical Dallas Rally & March for Life
to the
Earle Cambell Federal Courthouse where the Roe v. Wade case was first
filed in 1970.
Last
year, 5,000 prayed and marched for life. The hope is to double
that number in 2010! Parish youth groups, Catholic high schools,
Scout troups, etc. are encouraged to attend so that as many young
people as possible can participate. Bring your school, club or
troop banner for the march!
For complete
event information, including details on the Roe Memorial Rosary at
Routh street abortion center before the Mass, visit www.prolifedallas.org/roe or call 972-267-LIFE (5433).
